In Punjab,at least 8 passengers were killed and 11 others injured when a private bus fell down in a canal near Jhabelwali village on Kotkapura road in Shri Muktsar Sahib district. About seven passengers are feared to be washed away in the canal water. This unfortunate incident occurred this afternoon.
The district authorities immediately rushed for rescue operations and more than 35 passengers were saved.
