Jaipur:–Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Sunday said that there is special enthusiasm among the youth regarding the IT fest.
“The state government is constantly moving forward in the direction of e-governance,” he said after flagging off the Carnival and Run organised at JLN road on the first day of threeday IT Day Fest on Sunday. During this, he met the participants and motivated them.
The CM also visited the ‘Smart Village’ set up at JKK. He inspected the stalls with ideal design of agricultural machinery, sprinkler system, GIS, watershed, digital transaction, emitra and other facilities to fulfill the concept of smart village. He interacted with beneficiaries by visiting Indira Rasoi operated in Smart Village.
It is notable that Rajasthan IT Day Festival is being organised from March 19-21. Industry Minister Shakuntala Rawat, Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, Additional Chief Secretary Information Technology Akhil Arora, Commissioner IT Ashish Gupta, various IT experts, senior officials, actor Milind Soman were also present on the occasion. Various events will be held at Rajasthan College, Commerce College and JKK during the fest. Besides, an online hackathon will be held at the fest with more than one lakh participants.
