Delhi Capitals have so far produced a strong response after adding just 130/8 in 20 overs against Gujarat Titans in the IPL 2023 clash in Ahmedabad on Tuesday. The visitors removed Wriddhiman Saha for 0, then got rid of Shubman Gill and Vijay Shankar in quick intervals. David Miller also returned to the pavilion without troubling the scorers. Hardik Pandya and Abhinav Manohar have taken charge but have struggled to find the boundaries. Earlier, Mohammed Shami rocked the Delhi top-order, who lost half their side in the first five overs. Shami scalped four wickets and gave just 11 runs in his full quota. Axar Patel and Aman Khan showed some resistance and added 50-run for the sixth wicket before Mohit Sharma packed Axar for 27(30). Aman remained firm at the other end and stitched a crucial 53 run stand with Ripal Patel, during which he also completed his half-century. Ripal was dismissed in the final over for 23(13).
