While other spinners Ravi Bishnoi and Amit Mishra also complemented him well
with their spin to give Lucknow Super Giants an edge after the first innings. Lucknow Super Giants spinners managed to spin their web early around Sunrisers Hyderabad to put them on the mat. Pandya has already claimed three big wickets of Mayank Agarwal, Anmolpreet Singh and Aiden Markram, while Ravi Bishnoi also got the better of expensive Harry Brooks.
Sunrisers Hyderabad skipper Aiden Markram won the toss and elected to bat first as the franchise is in the search of a first win of the campaign. Sunrisers made a couple of changes in the XI as Markram and Anmolpreet Singh got chances in the XI. While Lucknow Super Giants also made major changes as Mark Wood due to flu and Avesh Khan due to injury missed out. Quinton de Kock also took rest.
Sunrisers Hyderabad started their campaign with a defeat in their opening match against Rajasthan Royals. The Orange Army missed the services of their skipper Aiden Markram but the Proteas batter will be back in the side for Lucknow Super Giants clash on Friday. Sunrisers failed to live up to the expectations in all three departments in their first match and they will be under pressure against Lucknow.
On the other hand, Lucknow started their campaign with a clinical win over Delhi Capitals but they fell short against Chennai Super Kings at Chepauk. Quinton de Kock will be available for selection for Friday’s clash which might force Lucknow to drop Marcus Stoinis from the XI.
