Lakshya Sen, India’s last hope in the All England Badminton Championship, has been eliminated today losing 12-21, 21-10, 21-15 after a tough 3-game fight against Indonesia’s Jonathan Christie. Lakshya Sen, who reached the final of the All England Championship in 2022, missed out on making it to his second All England final.
After losing the first game in this match that lasted 1 hour and 10 minutes, world ranking 18 Lakshya Sen made a brilliant comeback in the second game, but better than him, world ranking 9 Christie did not give Sen any chance in the third and decisive game. Christie will play against his compatriot Anthony Ginting in the final.
