- Too much or too little sleep – Insomnia or too much sleep is a sign of mental breakdown. Sometimes a mental fatigue will result in so many activities in the brain that it causes insomnia while other times, it causes the brain to be exhausted resulting in too much sleep.
- Brain Fade – If you’ve been feeling disoriented. Struggle with remembering things. And have found it difficult to concentrate recently. It is a sign of a mental breakdown. Also, are you neglecting your personal hygiene? You may feel like you just don’t have the energy to do anything. But this could be a sign of depression and even worse, a mental breakdown.
- Rapid Breathing – Tightness in your chest or rapid breathing is a sign of stress, which could lead to a mental breakdown if you let it.
- Physical Pains – Physical pain is your body like Frequent head and stomach ache is showing you that something is wrong not just physically, but also mentally.
- Withdrawal – Have you been cancelling your plans with everyone? This is another bad sign. We need socialization, and when we don’t have this, it affects us mentally.
- Eating too much or too little – Are you suddenly eating too much or too little? Change in appetite can be a sign of stress too. Cortisol (the stress hormone) can make you crave foods high in fat and sugar. A solution to this is to eat whole foods.
